Two New Breast Cancer Genes Emerge From Lynch Syndrome Gene Study

Important news if you have either the MSH6 or PMS2 Lynch Syndrome gene mutations. Researchers from Columbia University Irving Medical Center and New York Presbyterian have identified that having one of 2 gene mutations—MSH6 or PMS2—doubles a woman’s risk of developing breast cancer by age 60.
