The Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, Massachusetts Opens the First Lynch Syndrome Center

The Dana Farber Lynch Syndrome Center is dedicated to providing genetic counseling and testing to those at risk for Lynch Syndrome and delivering a new model of coordinated care for those living with Lynch Syndrome.  Dr. Sapna Syngal, founder of the center, says “Lynch Syndrome is one of the few inherited conditions for which there are many effective cancer prevention strategies.  We need to harness that knowledge and identify who is living with this and provide them with demonstrated prevention measures that can keep them from developing cancer.”

We hope this becomes a model other cancer centers will adopt.
